A dedicated Cisco ASA 5515 firewall is protecting the private LAN segment on which our dedicated private cloud is seated in the Rackspace data center. Rackspace follows industry best practices to protect the network and devices. Any changes to firewall rules go through the ‘MyRackspace’ portal and are approved in advance and logged on the portal. Along with a dedicated firewall, Rackspace also employs Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) mitigation services based on their proprietary Rackspace PrevenTier™ system.
