When adding a new challenge to the platform, the following fields appear, some of which have specific purpose / functionality and therefore are explained below.
Name: the title of the challenge.
Description: detailed description of the challenge.
Share type: this option determines whether this challenge will be shared with suppliers or not
Shared With Prospective Suppliers: this option determines whether a challenge will be visible to prospective suppliers (at the Prospective Suppliers page) during their registration / onboarding process).
Challenge Owner: the person that creates the challenge in the platform and to whom the suppliers might need to contact if they have any questions.
Business Units: the business unit to which the challenge relates to.
Date Submitted: the date the challenge was opened in the platform.
Expected Benefit: the benefit (financial or non financial) and / or added-value that a solution is intended to deliver.
Timelines: Expected time-frame that the challenges should be addressed.
Notes: additional information and / or comments about the challenge.
Notes History (Read-only): history of all the notes that have been added.
Questionnaire: in this field a questionnaire can be added, which suppliers have to answer if they have to propose a way to address a challenge.
When you complete the mandatory fields and click the Save button, the challenge is added to the list of challenges in the Module level (and in the supplier’s list of challenges, if you have selected to share this challenge with suppliers).
When a new challenge is added in the platform, all supplier users of the selected suppliers, with whom you have selected to share a challenge (see Share Type field above) will be notified by email about the new challenge.
